Music is made of exploding emotions, one of these is the loss that Alex experienced. For him one of the strongest losses, and without a doubt something that is reflected in this track. The piece is instrumental, but it clings to the soul, the sounds transport us to a moment of rest, of acceptance, the violin and the keyboard are perfect companions. On the other hand, at a certain point it becomes repetitive, as if the violin was waiting to be a voice. Sweet song.

While your note says that you have merged three German folk songs into this one presentation, the effect is quite delightful and melodious. One can absolutely hear the folk influences in the compositions despite not having heard the originals. I like the interpretation and the production which keeps the flavour very organic, under processed and not over produced, thereby retaining the beauty of the original forms.
